Supporters’ Bookmark - A Year of Poetry on Prescription

Bookmarks are available as a pre-order and are currently in production. Orders will be posted in approximately three weeks. 

This is a limited-edition bookmark inspired by Deb's much-loved 1940s lending-library card, once carried by readers who borrowed books at Boots' Lending Library. 

Our version reimagines that tradition for today. A simple, durable object designed to be used daily, kept close, and made to last.

Created to help support the opening of Poetry Pharmacy York, this bookmark is both a practical companion and a quiet gesture of patronage and support.

Opening a new Poetry Pharmacy in York is a small sub’verse’ive act; - a belief that poetry might belong on the high street.

The bookmark is printed on sheet-plastic, is approx 14cm long with a string treasury tag and mounted on card. Image is approximation of finished products which will be made to order. Bookmark will be printed on both sides. The bookmark is valid for discount purposes until beginning of March 2027.
