A glimmer is one of those small, easily missed moments that brings a flicker of pleasure, comfort, connection or hope.

For this special collaboration with The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press, poets were invited to capture a glimmer in a brand-new, previously unpublished poem of no more than four lines and 250 characters, small enough to fit inside a Poetry Pharmacy capsule.

The poems were submitted anonymously and read blind, with just 26 selected by Claire Thom and Cristina M. R. Norcross. Each capsule contains one miniature poem, published here for the very first time. Take one whenever a small dose of brightness is called for.

Possible side effects: increased noticing.

The glass bottle contains pill capsules, each containing a poetic extract on paper.
