Together, they might form a ritual of sorts , something to be read, tasted, and be reflected upon. Each arrives beautifully wrapped in a reusable box, designed to please both the eye and the intellect.
These are not gifts for display but for contemplation. They address what might be called the reflective self , the part of us that questions, interprets, and feels deeply. In that sense, each box is a small act of correspondence: a way of saying, I recognise something of your inner life.
One recent giver described offering a box to a young woman for her eighteenth birthday. Among the perfumes and jewellery, it was this modest collection of poetry, chocolate and thoughtfulness that drew the most attention. The recipient described it as the gift that understood her best.
